Neha C/O Gangaprasad

Neha is an 11 years old having HIV infection. Her father late Ganga Prasad was died due to AIDS with TB on March 2011. Her father was a painter and mother is a house made. She got the HIV infection through her Parents. After the death of her father mother takes the whole responsibility of her family.

Since childhood they are living in Delhi. She has one elder brother and one younger brother. Those are Punit is 14 years old studying in 10th class and Manish is a 10 years old studying in 4th class. Neha is studying in 6th class. They have migrated from Bihar. Now they are living in Bakkarwala, Mundka , Delhi.

In the year 2005 her father came to know his status during the TB treatment and after that entire family done the HIV test and found that Manish, Neha and her mother are living with HIV infection. Since 24 years her family has been living in Delhi.  since 2005 she is under ART and getting ART from Kalavati hospital. Her CD4 count is 430 (3/5/12)

 Due to HIV infection entire family faced the following problem:

·         due to health status family getting stress

·         due to sickness family income also getting low, earning source of the family is very low

·         they are staying in a rented house

·         children are unable to concentrate on study

After the death of her father family found difficulty to run properly.  They could not able to get proper nutrition

On March 2010 this family has enrolled in NSM in Ronak support group. As per the date on 9th April 2010 her height was 128 cm and weight was 22kg. And her hobby is playing cricket and likes to play Video game. Her favorite subject is Hindi. Her ambition is to become a Teacher.

Once in a month she falls in opportunistic infection and gets treatment from Kalavati Hospital, RML hospital.

She is taking the nutritional supplement like milk powder, sathu etc regularly she is mainlining neat and clean properly.
